-- Operation Restorant Spring, 2028 -- The Red Army has begun a full ground offensive against militant forces, today, June 6th, 2028. With the great majority of rebel troops being from militias; training, capability, and experience, is lacking. It has been noted, that the more experienced, former government troops have been kept on retainer by the rebel leadership with most trained forces and military resources being held within major urban areas, and remaining strategic sites. A major hinderence to Rebel forces has been the massive shortages of artillery and SAM munitions, with Soviet infantry rushing in, and Soviet air assets ravaging ground positions, shortages caused by favoritism and incompetent command allocation has left militiamen feeling betrayed, and forced to fight as feline meat against the ever encroaching Soviet war machine. The most capable and supplied forces have been the Jînzhaon Marines, who served in support roles alongside Tanakvikian forces during the Tanav-Taikavian war. The Marines have been split up, of course, but, whenever they are present, their worth has been proven greatly. The destruction, and the collapse of the power grid all across Jînzhao has also proved highly detrimental to anti-drone weapons, with batteries for the few rebel hand-held jammers expected to die out within the next three days, at pre-offensive expectations. Soviet command has noted the extreme population to occupation difference, and is currently drafting a planned solution. The destruction of the "Three Gorges Dam" has proven to be a horrendous felinitarian disaster. Tens of millions have suddenly been displaced as the Jînzhaon interior has been flooded with water. Major industries in the region, and many military forces were forced out by the floods, and multiple major cities have had to be evacuated due to rising water, leaving sparse extremist militiants isolated within taller buildings and mountains. This "lake" of flood water has been named Lake Iskanovka, off the (created) Federal Soviet Hero, Yuri Iskanovka, who was the pilot responsible for dropping the final bomb on the "Three Gorges Dam". Related bombings has continued, but has slowed down significantly as FedSov forces are re-organized. The soviet air force has continued to dominate the sky, and in almost every case, they have won massively against rebel attack groups. Rebel air forces have noticed extremely limited munitions, exasperated now due to the destruction of factories, and have had to plan accordingly. Full victory, and the reinstatement of the rightful Jînzhaoyi government is expected within the next two years. Total FedSov forces are roughly around 7.1 Million total personnel, including the newly arrived 5 million. Total estimated cost expenses are unknown, and with whats estimated to be ~38% of the entire federal military now in Jînzhao, what comes next, is unknown.
Unused STU stuff again Its loyalists + soviets vs everybody still atm Also the troops in Taikavia have came down from the mountains, and insurgent activity has essentially dissapeared.
