Happy New Year Everyone! -----Mobile Friendly----- ⚠️READING INSTRUCTIONS & NOTES AND CREDITS IS IMPORTANT, FULL SCREEN RECOMMENED⚠️ This Is A New Music Editor Project I Made, You Can Add In Different Istruments, Different Beats, Different Notes, And You Can Make A Song With It! The Instructions Might Be A Bit Tricky, But They're Pretty Understandable. There Are 3 Different Places In The Stage, At The Left There's The Instrument Bar, You Can Select A Handful Of Instruments From It, At The Right Of The Istrument Bar There's The Note Bar, Here You Place In Your Different Notes, On The Bottom There's The Note Editor, Here You Can Edit Your Note, From The Beats To The Note To The Instrument To Deleting It. 1.Placing In Notes To The Note Bar: The Note Bar Consists Of 4 Horizantal Slots Stacked Verticaly Divided By 4 Gray Horizantal Lines, Since You Can't Place Notes Overlapping, But You Want To Play 2 Notes At The Same Time, You Just Place Them On Top Of Each Other. So To Place A Note, You Need To Click On Any One Of The Instruments In The Instruments Bar, This Then Copies It, Then You Gotta Click On Any Of The 4 Slots To Paste In The Slot At The Cursor! The Note's Default Data Is: -Beats:1 -Note Number:60 And You Can Change Them From The Editor. And To Know What Instrument A Note Is, You Just Need To Look At Its Color, Here They Are: Red:Snare Drum Black:Electric Piano/Keyboard Orange:Guitar Blue:Electric Guitar Yellow:Saxophone Purple/Magenta:Marimba And That's It For Placing Notes. 2:Playing The Song: To Play The Song, Hit The Play Button In The Note Editor Bar, A White Thin Vertical Line Will Apear At The Left And Start Moving To The Right, It's Called The Timeline, When The Timeline Hits The Start Of A Note, It Plays It. And If You Have A Note Let's Say For 1 Beat, It'll Be 50 Pixels Wide, And The Timeline's Speed Is Calculated So That It Reaches The End Of A Note Right When It Stops, So You Can Do Some Pretty Cool Stuff If You Use This Feauture Wisely. Now, When The Song Is Playing, You Can Do 2 Things: -Stop The Song And Start It Later, This Makes The Timeline Go Back To The Start. -Pause The Song So That The Timeline Doesn't Go Back To The Start,But Rather Stays In Its Position, It Just Stops, So You Can Use This To Know Exactly Where To Place The Note! 3-Editing The Note: To Edit A Note, You Need To Click On The Little Gear On Top Of It, This Makes Some Buttons Show Up Next To The Buttons That Play And Pause From Earlier, Here Thay Are: -Change Beats:When You Click It, You Can Type In The Number Of Beats You Want, Let's Say 0.5, And Then You Can See The Width Of The Note Decrease By Half! -Change Note:It's Like The Previous One, But It Changes The Note, So If You Were Editing A Piano Note, You Change Wich Key It Presses! -Change Instrument:As You Guessed, It's Like The Previous 2, But It Just Changes The Instrument. And You Might Notice The Button At The Bottom That Says 'Close Note Editor', It Basiclly Just Closes The Editor And Makes The Buttons Invisible, You Need To Start Editing A Different Note To Make Them Reapear.
This Was An Insanely Hard Project To Make, And You'll See That By The Code, So Consider ❤️ + ⭐! --Notes-- 1:The First Time You Play Your Song, The Sounds Might Be Delayed Because Of Scratch Just Being Weird, Then It'll Work Just Fine, IT'S NOT BECAUSE OF ME. 2:Since I'm No Musician, This Might Have Some Little Errors, If You Find Anything Weird Please Let Me Know In The Comments! 3-Make Sure Not To Put Anything Weird When You're Editing A Note, Like Putting Letters In The Beats And The Note Number, Because It'll Break, And If You Misspell An Instrument's Name, It Won't Break, The Note Just Won't Play, And You Can Change It If You Misspell It, But If You Add Something Weird To The Number Inputs Like The Beats Or The Note Number, Because Of The Way I Wrote The Code, Everything Will Be Wrong, So Double Check Everything You Wrote Before Hitting Enter! So Here Are The Correct Instruments' Names(Captilaziaton Doesn't Matter): Snare Drum Electric Piano Guitar Electric Guitar Saxophone Marimba --Credits-- Images:I Made All Of Them Except The Instruments, They're From Google. Code:Since I'm No Musician, I Couldn't Understand Some Stuff, Like What Is The Tempo??? Anyways, So I Used AI(Copilot) To Help Me With Some Scripts, But It's Just A Few Blocks, And Plus They're Not For Functionality, It's Just The Timeline's Speed Calculations.
