The first day at Hogwarts The next morning was Saturday. Milli woke up and went to Ella's bed. But Ella wasn't in her bed. Milli quickly got dressed and went to the common room. Ella was lying there in an armchair, asleep. She probably couldn't fall asleep last night and sat down in the armchair, and then fell asleep. Milli went to the armchair where Ella was lying and nudged her gently. Ella opened her eyes and saw Milli. "Oh, did I sleep here all night? I couldn't fall asleep last night and came here to read some more, and I must have fallen asleep," said Ella. And sure enough, next to the armchair was an open book titled: "Quidditch - Not for the Faint of Heart." "Wow. Can I borrow that book?" asked Milli. "Sure, take it. I think it's boring anyway," said Ella. Then Ella went to the girls' dormitory and changed. After that, they went to breakfast. They were among the first to be seated at the Gryffindor table. They had just finished eating when many owls came in and flew to their owners. Milli looked intently to see if her owl, Snowy, was among them. Then Milli saw Snowy. She flew right up to Milli and gave her a letter. Then Snowy flew off again. Milli opened the letter. "Hello, Milli. How are you? Did you arrive at Hogwarts alright? I heard you're a Gryffindor now. Congratulations! I hope you've already made some new friends. Is Ella in Gryffindor too? Please write back soon. Love, Your Parents," the letter from her parents read. After that, they went outside. It was still warm, and the sky was blue. They could see Hagrid's hut from the castle.
