A full year as come and gone so its time for my annual art summary :D I drew alot this year and also (hopefully-) improved lots too ^^ (yap warning </3) 1. January: This was an at w/ @pepprminte !! I remember being so happy when they agreed to the trade, they were a huge inspo at the time :D 2. February: Gift for my sister (she still uses it on TH hehe) !! I was super proud of this. Honesty its not that bad but I can see some stuff that needs improvement. 3. March: Dtae for Jade's OTA/DTA. This is discussing absolutely revolting ew ew ew ewwwww. In the process of drawing that i was like yeah this isnt gonna turn out good and oh boy was i right ToT 4. April: This was suppose to be a scene in my Frozen Meme but guess who forgot (translation: procrastinated ) it TvT. 5. May: Another DTAE but a diff dta ofc. Yeah i dont remember anything great abt it other than the 1 pound fish blasting in the backgroud. This was exam month so yeah not alot happened. 6. June: My irl friends oc :D I still love the rendering of this one. The text is cringe but who cares. 7. July: Bro. Bro. This this was my awakening. Artfight comes and saves me every year omg. I always start the event with buns art but then ohhhhh yeahhhh. It forces you to draw sm that you improve sm in the span of less than a month. Yo i even had motivation for an animeme mass attack gng. What in the peak. 8. August: OMG YES I LOVE THIS SM 10/10 i cooked. This was my best scene by far. @cafecat 's dta was so peak. This is the last year of the dta it was so fun while it lasted :3 sadly im too much of a coward to join because i love north but all the art sweats joined for em heh im good TvT. 9. September: Another art revolution. Pie's dta made me lock in. Honestly my entire entry was good and the fact that im not cringing at the sight of it is a good sign. Also this is the month i got procreate and ascended 10. October: I made like no art in october. Like none. The only thing i found is a doodle of my halloween costume THAT I DIDNT EVEN POST HERE LOL. There is no excuse that can save me here i even had procreate at the time. Edit: wait i remember now this was the month where i my school gave me 3 tests a day 11. November: AT yayya it was so chopped untill i used ever filter out there to give it a glow up then it looked unironically good LOL also i such at humans 12. December: New artstyle AND i think i mastered cat anatomy. I dont need to like draw those reference circles to get proportions good. I just. Draw. Wow crazy. W month art-wise other than the fact that procreate deleted all my custom brushes and i only use customs so that was,, an experience. 13. Evil bonus :0 Meet my oc Bumble !! He's ANCIENT like 2023 ancient. In all this time he didnt have a ref or any art im crying. His design is mostly identical except for his ears and paws. He's also a long haired cat ^^ i just such at drawing fur lol. I love this guy sm and any art made of him will be cherished forever <3 13.5 Evil bonus2: Only the real ones remember this. I included Bumble in my 2025 art summary because i finished his ref yesterday and compared him to the unc pfp that was the only record of his existence at the time (2023-yesterday). Im actually proud of my improvement over the years. He looks NOTHING like what he used to (thank God-) lol. I remember being super proud of the eyes on the og bumble, but now. Now i realize he's cross-eyed ToT. For thoses who didnt see og Bumble, I believe this is still my pfp on DA cause i've ABANDONED that site lol. Anyway pretend theres some cringy message abt how its never too late to improve and ur art doesnt such or watever im tired and i've been writing this desc for 2 hours YAYA thats it i improved alot this year which is good since i didnt last year LOL all i did was change brush and i was like "oMG loOk i ImPrOveD" ToT. Dtas and artfight were definitely key factors in this year's improvement. Im happy to say that im actually satisfied with my art style as of now and cant wait for next year me to say "EW THATS OLD AND UGLY" (cause it'll mean i would be able to do better loll). Next year i'll work to FINALLY learn how to draw humans and dragons :D also I would like to make some more finished pieces as most were sketches / doodles this year (is it just me or do my sketches look better than my actual finished drawing). I do have something planned for 2026 but I won't revel anything due to me lacking the ability to lock in and grind TwT. Credits: !! Notice !! Not all featured ocs belong to me.
