Welcome to Reverse Routes, a puzzle game involving two balls on a 10x10 grid. One is red, the other is blue. ----- Instructions ----- The red ball is controlled with the arrow keys or buttons, as usual. The blue ball goes in the opposite direction of the pressed key. Each move controls both balls at once. The goal is to get the balls (the smaller circles) onto the targets (the bigger circles). When a ball rolls off the board, it will loop around to the nearest opposite edge of the board. When a ball hits a wall, it will revert direction. Door & key mechanics: Pink doors need any key in order to be unlocked. Red doors need a red key in order to be unlocked. Blue doors need a blue key in order to be unlocked. To collect a key, a ball must be on the same tile as it. However, non-pink keys can only be collected by the ball of their color. When a ball or box enters a purple portal, it will teleport to the green portal. Direction is preserved during teleportation. Balls on the exit portal will block the entrance portals. Boxes can be pushed around by any ball, and are not directly controlled by the arrow keys. Keys "collected" by boxes do not unlock any doors; instead, the key is crushed. Other than that, they are the same as balls. Holes are traps. Both boxes and balls can fall in and not escape in any way, except restarting the level, obviously. However, if a box (or ball) falls into a hole, it becomes "filled" and acts like an empty cell. Good luck solving all (currently) 21 levels in the least possible moves! By the way, there's no Easter Eggs whatsoever. Please don't even think about looking for them. It's a waste of your time, you'll get nowhere, and then you'll regret it. ----- Credits ----- for the blur effect I used in the thumbnail background. All other code, art, and animations by / . Note: I'll add more levels later. Unfortunately this is not mobile friendly. I will add mobile controls later.
