I would like to address for those who have been there for me through this past awesome year. closing in with a sad ending but a amazing beginning. This was so crazy and my peak star of animation style including with that wacky crazy pen. But first I would like to thank those who stuck with me till the end (obviously) @wayurm- this guy will always be a inspiration to me even if he retires. one of my biggest inspirations. yes call me wayurm glazer idc but hes super peak and sorry wayurm but when i first saw the manifest amv, i didnt really care because i was working on something big. but something out of the ordinary caught my eye. something mystical or basically commatose. that was my inspiration for those next couple of months. one of my main inspirations before you was... @-orange-yum-yum- this guy i cant explain was the reason i started the wacky pen style. he was also one of my main inspirations because it was like wayurm 2.0 without the insane perspectives but im no orange glazer because wayurm is. so peak bruv. @___NATETHEGREAT___ i didnt really use most inspiration with him but thats beside the point because he has helped me with my animations and gave me tips on what to do. he was my good friends in this amv community. other mentions - @DT641234 @-purbleflame- @Sunfiish @-BirdieAnimates- @rasberry_98 @Kauliflowr @trixieismynickname @Un1cornGamer123 @ExplodeToon or this has been a blessed year for these new amv animators and any animator. im also happy for me being a "decent" animator in this community. i want the best out of the new animators and how they will probably be one of the best amv animators so far. its been amazing spent with each one of you and if you are a new animator that is probably from the future, just know. your awesome and one day you will be like them even if its hard. thank you for a good year. til next time, tormented baggy the third for the final time of this year out. cya in 2026, cant wait for whats about to happen <3.
How it all started - A while back i started a scratch account called skip-it, basically going to be rip off incognito orange or like those generic stuff you know the rest, but for some reason the username was taken so i was like, "lemme use the name in some other ways" spoilers, all of them were taken. So i thought of some animators combined with stuff. but then i realized "why not be generic as the others!" so i tried to look through animators names to see what they have in common. all of the following, dashes, underscores and you know the rest. So one afternoon or noon, I thought of my old oc's for this new "skip-it" and then i soon thought it was a bag so, why not make it my username? and i tried to make a name with the connected dashes with some other word and the bags or bag but it didnt work. the next day i was just thinking of fake words that was like a word but it didnt mean anything. Then one day when i was thinking, it just came up. "Tormentes" (thats why its spelled incorrectly) so i was like "lets make this happen!" so i clicked sign up and asked my mom for the gmail, it was successful. I started making this meme going on yt shorts and was doing the "orange juice" trend so i started it too. i was trying to do my best but for some reason, the song was to long and i didnt know how to save it. so i restarted it. then i finally made it with the thumbnail but for some reason, when i did the thumbnail that other generic animators use, they used a forever block and for some reason, my animation was delayed :sob:. but i didnt really care and just posted it. it took me 9 months to figure it out but after that animation, i just stopped using scratch for a reason i didnt know off because i just forgot about it. until another year later. once i was in robotics class, i realized they did scratch and then i remembered everything, my old account, my new one, everything i remembered in a instant. so i went back to it and saw everything that happened. so i started making a new animation. I was also obsessed with this animator @-Official-Zigzagger- because he was the first to comment on that juice project. so my second animation was idk, i dont remember lol. But then i saw this scratch creator with a map. i didnt know what a map was and i saw some remixes of parts of this so called "map" and was like "hey i want to join!" so i asked, and it was confirmed! i started animating it on like october and i remember sadly i made a remix in january but that was my first amv/part and then, i started getting better. i was looking how the term "smooth" worked. honestly, i just used terms from some math teacher stating that "no matter how many half steps you take, you will never make it to the end point" and then i realized "wait. its just slowing down in a pace smoothly!" so one of my animations used this principle and i was happy about it! then, i used some other extra things. the time i reached some peaks was my New Normal part outro from zugshi and that was my new pb until i got inspiration from this scratched named orange. before this "orange" came into my existence, there was this guy called carrot eater which before i followed purble. this guy was liking it so i was like, lemme see this project from this dude. lemme tell you, it was peak. i think you probably know what it was called. "Overture" one of the best animations i watched. and i didnt realized until someone pointed out, ORANGE WAS CARROT and i was like WHATTTTT. so that gained my inspirating for some time with new pen usage, until wayurm came along side which caught my eye even more. then some new stuff came along until i met nate which had this map called commatose and i was like, "i should make a amv about this!" and yes i did with over 300 frames and the hardest to make! mainly inspired by wayurm! (wayurm glaze) and then took a break because of how tired i was and burned out. but i came back. with a fresh mind and some fresh hands, i went to work on diversion and it became a really good product, really above my expectations. probably because it took 1 week which the other parts i make was 2 days but that didnt stop my consistent part making. in another week, other projects started to show and countless others came. today, i have about 70 - 80 animations so far with the others being filler or just random nonchalant stuff. But that was the story of amvs. what really sparked my animation was all the way back in 2023 where my friend showed my this comic he made based on this scratcher by the name @Nerdimations, and i was like i should do animation memes and so i did with other inspirations being @awesomeal82, @IncognitoOrange. @BrickPlex and asided together @MaciTheGamerYT and @Giolaboman. credits - wall - good kid
