JANUARY looking back on this i don't feel like i improved all that much now. at least, compared to my 2024 art summary. although, what even is improvement anyways? I did enjoy drawing humans more, that I can be sure of. 2. FEBUARY (character designed by @sodacar123) rendering practice! it's something I've definitely gotten better and much more comfortable doing. I remember being really proud of this, and honestly I still do like it now. 3. MARCH I've posted a speed paint to this before... haha miku appears in my art summary again. and this marks the fanart's reign of terror... 4. APRIL one of the two things on here drawn on my phone, finger and ibis :') where did all my skillz go... I really do like this!! I still think this looks pretty sick. trucy wright is one of my favourite characters to draw... I mean I guess you can tell since a quarter of this is trucy fanart HAHAH 5. MAY drawn for mob's birthday :] I was a little late but it's okay!! I did it!! yay!! this is another one of my phone doodles! I experimented a lot with the colors and i like how it ended up haha. color theory is fun! one layer art is fun! you should all try it sometime it's good practice 6. JUNE screenshot redraw from the end of the magical turnabout :] it's one of my favourite pieces of ingame art honestly!! plus it features my two favourite characters AND it's my favourite case haha... its number 3 in the "longest time floof has spent on a piece" with it taking over 5 hours... the first is the september drawing at. what 12? 13 hours? second place goes to an imposted piece that I HATE yet I spent 9 hours on my life on. it's terrible and should never ever see the light of day. ever. 7. JULY (character designed by @jadeieful) happy art fight month! this year was my very first, and it was so so fun. thanks to everyone who attacked me! I got burnt out after like two days HAHA... short psa never crank out 14 attacks in two days you will DIE and CRASH and BURN. 8. AUGUST I've had this concept sitting at the back of my mind for ages but one then did I actually draw it... I didn't think I had enough skillz to pull it off in the past but now I do!! the fisheye perspective isn't as visible as I'd like but I'm very proud of the result :] still love it after like 5 months haha. 9. SEPTEMBER something else I've posted here... 13 hours of my life... I really like how the colors ended up here. some of the art (what's going on with susato's hair?) is a little off but. it's fine!! I love the ace attorney assistants dearly I love you maya I love you trucy I love you Kay I love you susato. I hope they recover from their trauma because god what is with japanese media and traumatizing high schoolers. :(. 10. OCTOBER and trucy makes yet another appearance! I don't know how I feel about this one honestly. why is her face like that. why is her nose so weird. I like the shading on most parts but I feel like it could be better... whatever the graphic design stuff looks pretty good 11. NOVEMBER at this point I started playing aai2 and met eustace for the first time. I'm sure he's a fan favourite who could NOT love this failure of a guy. look at him he's so pathetic. fun fact this was drawn during the wee hours of the night. the wifi was dead so i didn't have a reference haha everyone marvel apon the hands I drew without a reference (you really don't have to they're pretty mid honestly) tried doing that watercolor-y kinda shading with the white and the texture and stuff. go procreate brushes!! I love them!! 12. DECEMBER (species by spectralswan) last one of the bunch! and fitting for december. I feel like the background could be improved but. I am trying! this was drawn for one of the prompts in the realm of faia arpg, so the char is a closed species from there :] a ruptaur! I love him dearly hahha thanks for reading all that!
