Progressed in time and only time, pushed humanity out the cracked window that we pushed our sobbing, snot-filled and crinkled faces up against to watch as our hearts and brains clotted and petrified, all color drain as we got stuffed with replacements that don't have that one terrible weight of beating or pulsating, blood or sludge-filled pores, no more bitter, slimy phlegm stuck up in our throats that we used to choke on our regret and regurgitation as it got squeezed out of and squelched up from the slick walls of our frothing and sputtering stomachs that we'd feed whatever s--- we'd find off the ground that scraped holes into our skin that we couldn't stitch closed with any band aid or feel-better kiss, only needles and surgical threads that left an ugly scar we could no longer hide once our clothes were burnt off in the fire we lit using the same matches that once lit sweet campfires where we told stories of kindness before we were exposed, seen by judgement was our rotten skin that we'd pick at with our overgrown dirt covered fingernails that we could no longer bite off with our yellow teeth we couldn't care to brush at all but bit the rotting food that we ate off the sidewalk into our skin hoping and praying desperately to an evil god who ruined our lives just by being an idea that it got stuck, rotted and infected our already monstrous flesh and organs. (under a force, some sort of shield turned the glass window to cold, hard stone) We no longer have skin to rake holes into we are held together by micro-fleece stuffed with soft poly-fill cotton, lofty, light and cloud like and our hearts take a much simpler shape carry so much less complexity that we have grown wings and our ears, mouth, nose and eyes are no longer holes for any darkness to pour into they're muffled with peace and comfort, we're soft and huggable with lullaby voices and pastel colors and the smell of cotton candy that embraces us warmly and hushes us off into a deep sleep filled with joy induced dreams about our very reality that we hold close to us and never let go of because we can never go back, never wake up to the dreadful weight of humanity. stop breathing stop beating stop worrying stop.
