Reasons why: STONEMARROW: I dunno I think algae/plant based biotech is underused in fiction, everyone just fills their computer with meat and it's tiring. VIRIDIUM MORTALIS: Plant computers! Need I say more? FABLEBUGS: every setting needs over 1,000 different arthropods this is a truth of the world. RIDDLEWORT: Yeah I enjoy designing plants I feel like that's obvious by now. OCEAN: Spontaneous generation is already quite prevalent in Pendia, so I made it make random sea monsters forever because why not. Inspired by really old paleoart. deepsea life, and old sea monster depictions VALKYRIES: Pendia is a setting defined by war! It's ecology should mirror this! WROUGHTMOSS: Cool skittering moss creatures are compulsory. Also don't... don't eat fresh Wroughtmoss. Regenerative TOXINS should probably give you an idea of what will happen if you do. EXALTED SLIVERS: Powerful, complex spells staying alive through parasitism is cool as heck. Also maybe the slivers could improve Focus? MANYMOUTH: I was asked to add this ANTAGONISTIC LEECHCRANE: I'm practicing drawing birds! And a jawless bird is A: cool and B: marginally easier to draw. So evil insect-like cranes it is! I may well add more.
