Art of Lupscle, rain world OC :3 Can you work out what they are? (Prob pretty easy once you seen the art) No peeking down here until you seen everything heheh Oh and I used a screenshot from the Rain World Github map for the background For those of you who have read da project: Ever noticed how [Thing that Lupscle is] expand and retract, like they’re breathing? Maybe that’s because they’re living animals! *My Headcanon* These fascinating little beans are hundreds, maybe thousands of cycles old, and have been in hibernation within small, hard protective pods that they use their spinnerets to weave. The world they went to sleep in was vastly different from the current land of Rain World. There were far more natural fauna, and [Thing that Lupscle is] was among the biggest! They had no natural predators that they came into contact with in their habitats and so they are laid-back and friendly. There was likely some sort of natural disaster, such as a famine or heatwave, that caused them to go into hibernation, metamorphosising into an alternate, comatose state in which they were near indestructible, and spinning little ‘cages’ around themselves as protection and to reach the sunlight, as in this state they photosynthesise. Regularly, their favourite prey is worm grass, which unique among creatures [TTLI] like to pull out of the ground like… well, like worms. [Thing that Lupscle is] are pretty soft, with their hard horns being their main defence outside of their shells. Their tendency to eat worm grass explains why said grass is repelled by them. Thanks for reading my essay about Lupscle! Please comment questions or praise because I am an attention-seeking goblin >:3 And feel free to use the headcanon! The Ancients probably based modern lizards off what they knew from their early ancestors about [TTLI]
