yayy i drew hinae in goodbye sengen / declaration !! a vocaloid song i love very much about a hikikomori ( zettai justice ) and seeing as hinae is absolutely a shut in,, i thought itd suit her !! :> and also, happy new year. declaring a goodbye to 2025. "rain isnt your posting schedule mondays and fridays? its wednesday what happened ??" ITS NEW YEARS THATS WHAT HAPPENED SOBBFING i threw this together really stuck yesterday cos i dont have enough art for a full dump :< 1. i wanted to make a proper new years banner but lost motivation cos it didnt look good 2. sketch !! for whatever reason i like drawing the base really small on the canvas and then drawing details larger 3. lineart - as i studied the original style and it had this rough pencil texture for lines so i recreated my chalk brush from my splatoon studies ( veterans of this account, ikyk ) 4. SHE LOOKS SO SICKLY WHAT ARE THESE BASE COLORS - trust the process the color theory works eventually i promise i literally colorpicked the skin tone from the original im not joking 5. itll get better soon ( shading ) the original was a very simplistic shading style and as much as it hurt me, i only shaded the areas that really needed it 6.
