This is my backstory for Crassula! (LOTS OF READING) Crassula had always been an adventurous dragonlet. She always loved nature, and watching other silkwings recover the forests. However, the day her metamorphosis was occurring she noticed her parents had been looking at her worriedly, but Crassula didn’t think much of it. At dawn she spun into her cocoon and waited. 5 days had now passed, and the cocoon opened. With it Crassula emerged, but 2 major things were different. She only had 2 wings, but that wasn’t the only thing, firey silk spread from her wrists, and not red fire, but blue. Crassula couldn’t believe it, she was a flamesilk! With blue fire, the hottest type! Silkwings now had the ability to choose their own jobs to live with. Crassula had no interest in the majority of jobs but one in particular had always caught her eye, the nature walkers. Nature walkers were always searching for new ways to help rebuild the forests and the nature surrounding it, so she knew it would be the perfect job for her. To become a full nature walker, you must take a quest. The quest was meant to be simple but it was very different for Crassula. Typically all that was needed to successfully finish the quest was to be able to use skills to find unique things in nature that could help rebuild the silkwing kingdom, but Crassula wanted to find more. (And she did) Crassula flew across the valley, she wasn't even quite sure what she was even looking for but she had a weird feeling she was going the right way. She found plenty of unique flowers, and wildlife, but she didn't stop, she knew her antenna were guiding her somewhere important. Suddenly Crassula heard a loud high pitched scream of pain, AAAAIIIGH------- Crassula bolted towards the noise, but as she got closer she noticed a gigantic cave, with rocks sliding from every corner. The shrieks of pain became louder, and that's when she realized that something-someone was trapped inside the cave. "Whoever they are, they don't deserve to be killed," Crassula thought, "Maybe I can use my silk to break the rocks, and free them, forget a stupid quest, this is far more important." She carefully extended her wrists, and let her flamesilk come out. Strand of hot blue fiery silk came from her wrists and went to the rocks. Slowly, the rocks began to break, one by one, until they were all cracked enough on the outside to get into the cave. Two dragons were stuck underneath a pile rocks inside the cave, one was a skywing, the other was a rain-nightwing. They looked up at Crassula with a scared glance, but a bit of hope gleamed in their eyes. Carefully, she pushed the rocks of them, but she noticed that the damaged was already done. The rain-nightwing had many scratches and bruises on her legs, and face, but the skywing was much worse. A massive boulder had fallen right on top of his right wing, leaving only part of his wing left, he would never be able to fly properly again. "Y-you saved us," the rain-nightwing said I-we would have certainly died if you didn't come, you saved us." Replied the skywing I knew I was going the right way, these dragons are safe now, because of me, Crassula realized "Who are you and how did this happen?!" Crassula asked. "My name is Eclipse, and this is falcon," she nodded pointing to the skywing." We came here to search for something and we found it, but that's when the rock slide happened, come follow us." They lead their way further through the cave and there, thousands of shimmering crystals lay. "They're beautiful," Crassula gasped in awe "This is the cave of the aurora healing crystals," falcon explained."This place is special, it can only be found once in every 1,000 years, but once it is found the magic doesn't go away." Timeskip: A month has now passed, Crassula, Falcon, and Eclipse had now led other tribes to the cave of healing crystals. Falcon, and Eclipse moved to pantala, and all three of them became nature walkers. Eclipse found a interesting hivewing who adored science, and Crassula and Falcon have gotten very close to one another. Crassula knows her journey is far from over, and can't wait for what is ahead of her, but she can't help but feel like something is coming, and it will change everything forever. The end (for now...)
