I’m also showing my process for how I finished the artwork, since I needed a fun challenge. process . . . 1. finished artwork! 2. rough sketch of hair & body 3. cleaned up final sketch 4. lineart 5. skin color as base color 6. shading & makeup! (my favorite part) 7. hair coloring 8. dress coloring 9. eyes and butterflies!! 10. background and shading 11. lighting 12-13. small tweaks notes . . . ʚɞ overall, I’d say I’m moderately proud of this. I think the lighting looks good, but something definitely feels off about her in the facial region. ʚɞ I like the lighting, though! I’ve definitely been working on lighting since i’ve been experimenting with dramatic lighting and such ʚɞ this did take just about forever though :< I never draw more detailed clothes, so I probably spent like 45 minutes just on that… ʚɞ THE BUTTERFLIES THOUGH.
