What are the most interesting orientation multipliers? There's a bilateral symmetry left to right, like a butterfly, especially for multiplier 2, because turns near 0 (straight up) are affected less by the multiplier, so a mirror image effect results with less direction change down the vertical center.
Arrows all aim to center, then each multiplies it's angle repeatedly as they move. For certain multipliers, like 2, bilateral patterns are prominent because turns near 0 degrees are very small even after multiplying. A similar small change occurs with 180 degrees, since 2x180 is a full turn. Larger turns near 90 degrees, see a greater affect by the multiplier. Turns near 90 degrees, after multiplying, essentially turn around (180 degrees). The clearest example is that a multiplier of two creates a double circle left to right (but not up and down), like butterfly wings. I made this project to explore that, then I saw many other possible patterns. Arrows start in random screen positions, all aimed towards center before the angle multiplier kicks in.
