Her father, being a more cold and distant type, didn't want much to do with her, and Cricketcall favored her brother, who was much stronger and braver than the shy and sweet Doekit. Even as an apprentice, Doepaw felt she wasn't given much love, as her mentor, while being proud of Doepaw and praising her at times, was quite strict and pushed Doepaw further than she felt comfortable. However, Doepaw's quiet and shy personality made it difficult for her to gain the confidence to speak up. One day, after earning her warrior name of Doespot, she wondered outside of clan territory, looking to perhaps become a loner. However, a two-leg snatched her up and took her home to become a kittypet. Doespot initially went along with it, realizing the two-leg meant to harm. But after weeks of being trapped inside, yearning for the woods, Doespot darted out through an open door and became a loner. For a while, she took shelter with another loner named Bracken, who taught her how to use herbs and the way of medicine. Unfortunately, Bracken was rather old, and after his death Doespot began living on her own again, working as a friendly traveling medic. As of now, Doespot isn't looking for a mate, but she would potentially be open to one in the future, as long as they were fine with traveling around and never staying in one place for too long.
