A weapon devised by the sanctumites, designed to fire long ranged plasma attacks. It has three sets of rails, the set in use can be swapped between to allow for cooling and to offload stress, though multiple sets of rails can be used at the same time to further strengthen the beam. Power can be fed into the main battery using spark-based energy cells, though many users have adapters instead that help them convert magical energy into electrical power and run it through the weapon. The ammunition of the weapon is stored in a pressurized gas canister, densely packed xenon gas which is leaked into the initial chamber for one of three firing modes. The first firing mode is the charged single shot, as the rails charge up a packet of xenon gas is released into a molding chamber where it is initially charged and shaped into a more stable toroid shape, before the rails fire and send the singular shot out. This attack can be held before firing to make the torus more intensely charged and the rails more powerful, though this does increase stress on the weapon. Sufficiently charged mode1 shots detonate on impact. The second mode is the continuous fire, which essentially turns the weapon into a normal plasma jet. Due to the power of the weapon and the density of Xenon even in this form it is able to achieve significant ranges before it falls victim to dispersing, this is good for more practical applications like cutting through things. The third firing mode is a fusion between the two, rapid pulse shots. The shots don't have time to be rolled into a torus and the rails keep turning on and off but the attack doesn't need to be wound up before firing, though this comes at a cost to range and power. Again though, the weapon still pumps large amounts of power into its attacks and even the unfocused barrage shots still hit with large force and intense heat.
