[WARNING for those who find certain opinions rude please leave this project] This project isn't meant to offend anybody I'm just kinda mad that I've been here for 5 years and it hasn't been good the last 2 years... Wow, I Couldn't even quit happily lol Scratch is a very odd place right now. You have to worry about ai training on your art, you have to worry about racist bots, and you have to worry about if you're project is gonna get taken down for no reason. That's not too bad? That's normal? Well this surely can't be regular. On TOP of ALL that other stuff, people don't even have original ideas, and what's some motto that "resonates" with scratch? "Imagine, Program Share" Right now, I'd like you to focus on the "imagine" part. Imagining things (according to Britannica) means to "think or create something that is not real in your mind) That basically means if you just copy and paste random stuff it's not original/by you. It's so sad how the new scratchers can only rely on getting inspiration from the REALLY big scratchers because everyone else is copying THEM! Half the people don't even know what an oc is bro. They believe any character is an oc. We honestly need to stop spreading misinformation because if they thought that making an oc in the SAME way (hoodie, bucket hat, oc base) can still be original then that's not good. Let me break down the abbreviation oc for you. "original character" just by saying this alone I don't even think I have to explain anything. It surely cant get worse? MANY people use this site just for fame. If I'm being honest, since the community is really drawn to generic stuff now. getting 1k followers is probably easy. I know people have different opinions but honestly is the reused content really that good to you? It's always some random audio that's supposed to be funny, then it's a generic oc doing whatever, then at the end of the project it's some random brainrot audio. I know people like different things but like it's really just the same content just by different people. It's not a problem with the people doing this, it's a problem with the community forgetting how much more scratch can be... Trending was literally broken for MONTHS. During that time, no one was able to get on trending for months. During that time I saw people adding their projects to 20 to (sometimes) 50 studios! This proves what I said earlier about fame. Scratch isn't about fame at all. It's about the creativity and positivity. Right now the site isn't reflecting that. I'm not posting anymore art here because of this. It's an unsafe and overall boring place right now(imo). What did these CHILDREN do to deserve ai to STEAL their art? Nobody on here should get their art stolen, children or not. Also the reason I said children or not is because adults use this site too. There was the fajtv situation AND people use scratch as a DATING SITE. It could be a literal ADULTS behind that screen you NEVER KNOW. It's a SAFETY ISSUE. There are some people who take art commissions for ROBUX and SCAM YOU. Like why? Do children just not have what they need to the point where they basically just NEED to STEAL money? I bet it's adults sometimes too which makes it even worse. I'm so glad I can leave this site, it's not good at all right now. Quitting is the right choice for those who don't like it. Don't make this big quitting project or anything, just quit. Also I'm gonna pop in sometimes but as of right now I AM DONE WITH THIS. I might make some other stuff here but NO more art. honestly this is gonna be dissapointing but forget about the requests. I don't want ai to train on even more of my stuff. I really didn't feel like putting effort into this project. I really don't care about scratch anymore yeah so the summary, I won't entirely leave (I'll still love and favorite stuff) And I might make some projects NOT ART related like some updates.
