Basically with every new chapter the characters look pretty different, and the reason is because I am very inconsistent with how I draw the characters. One month I'll draw them and be like "this is how I will draw them forever" then the next month I'll see what I drew the previous months and be like "EW what is this monstrosity". I think (hopefully) I have figured out how to draw them in a way I like and will probably be consistent, because I saw a drawing I did last month and I didn't see a huge difference. Finally some consistency - I also try to make the characters stylistically proportional, so the heads are a bit larger I think. Evie is supposed to be nine/ten so she is shorter and has a rounder face than, say, Oliver.
I was looking at the frames for chapter seven to see if it was very different than how Evie looks in chapter eight, and I dont know if I want to laugh or throw up.
