As a result of sudden mass conscription, after a brief period of mutiny and protests, many armories within Elevia have been seized by revolutionaries, as the already war-weary peoples are radicalized by the seizing of their personal liberties over territory that is so trivial to them. Additionally, the Laurentians have succeeded in sealing off the Aldranians, creating the largest encirclement in scallop's history, and is a large, possibly decisive blow on Aldranian morale. The Wonder Weapons, just like real life, do absolutely NOTHING to change the war. The gliding bomb's explosive radius makes them primarily useful for strategic targets, but with this unconventional war, there are very little clear strategic targets that will stay in place long enough for a gliding bomb to actually be able to arrive and use its range to its advantage. ah yes maybe throwing more men into a meatgrinder will work!!!!
