overheater was once human, he had an insatiable thirst for power, this thirst led him to smoker, a powerful deity of fire, speed, and the stars, overheater sought his power, thinking it would make him (titlecard) after a very one sided battle, in a last ditch, overheater sacrificed his physical body to merge with smoker, splitting off into a seperate- yet weaker form, overheater, his greed influenced his flames, causing them to burn a deep blue, signifying his downfall, now he was cursed to be the one thing he swore to destroy...
(continued, however mostly smoker) fight after fight, overheater lost, adapting, yet always outsmarted, in a later fight he attempted to merge with smoker again, however this only split smoker again, forming furnace, all of smoker's desires and primal emotions, a wild god of chaos, seeking only ways to entertain itself, as for smoker, he was shot down to earth, severely weakened, he was but a small ember, after finding a mere iron cast for a robot, smoker quickly possessed the robot as metal holds heat well, meaning it would last long enough, at the cost, he was experimented on by his "father" whom he called himself, however as time went on, smoker's body started to weaken, as his body could not contain the overwhelming amount of energy inside himself, his strength regained, as his "father"'s final thanks as for providing him with valuable intel, e built smoker a new body that let him output heat efficiently, aswell as having a trap-door to release any excess steam or heat, but having a rear vent for heat-based propulsion
