Blend in Don't stick out Hide behind a wall No need to yell Or scream or shout It's better to be small If no one notices No one cares You can't be embarased or hurt Forgotten by friends Ignored by most But at least not left in the dirt Your name dissapears You watch from the side As the world exists all around You open your mouth You try to join in But you cannot make any sound You learn to be silent Like a thief in the night Watching lives that are not your own You pretend to be a part But you are really apart And no person or place feels like home You look at this world You know so much about But you still are ignored by this world And by the end You realize You are just an invisible girl
