I know it’s been a while! Sorry I was gone so long!” He says brightly, a wide grin on his face. “I- I’m sorry, but- do I know you?” I ask, tilting my head to the side in confusion. “Come on, Impy! It’s me!” He jests, grin faltering slightly. “I- I really don’t have a clue who you are, but I suggest you leave before my- before- before my- augh, my head-” It feels like someone is bashing my skull in with a hammer. “Let me try somethin’, Dipple Dop.” The stranger comments, holding out his hands, already glowing with the golden light that comes from Angelic magic. The pounding in my head stops almost immediately, replaced by a cooling sensation. “Thank you, but- um- well- did you break into my room just to call me weird names and heal my migraines?” His face visibly falls. “Impulse, it’s me. It’s Skizz. Don’t you recognize me?” I shake my head. “I guess I won’t bother you anymore, in that case. Don’t feel like gettin’ arrested.” He quips as he turns around and climbs out the window he came through. He turns around, and in the faint light from my bedside lamp, I can see tears rolling down his cheeks. “Take care of yourself, ‘kay? Don’t go dyin’ on me.” And with that, he vanishes.
