Hello! Comma here :) I was thinking of writing a full-length story about Alterhumans, but then, I got an idea. Why write one story with one perspective... when you can force other people to write stories themselves! So, I'm putting this here for others to write their stories, and put them into the compilation! I will be writing one (1) story, and putting together a maximum of twelve (12) total, with five (5) spots currently up for grabs! Rules: - NO AI. - All work must be your own. - There must be at least one Alterhuman in your story, though they do not have to be the main character. - Keep it child appropriate. B1ood and flashbacks to d3ath are fine, g0re is... less fine. - No swearing. - Don't set the story in an already existing fictional world. - Minimum five hundred (500) words, more is better. Maximum is three thousand (3000). These are approximations! Feel free to do three thousand twenty (3020) or four hundred and seventy six (476) for all I care! - Go wild! ...literally. Slots (Slots without a 'taken by ___' are open) 1. Taken by Meow 2. 3. 4. Taken by Nova 5. Taken by Draka 6. Taken by Wren 7. Taken by Pine 8. Taken by Minnow 9. Taken by Comma 10. Taken by Cinder 11. Taken by Starry 12. Taken by Snowblossomcharisma TNEs: Anyone can make one! Requirements are - The Therian and/or Alterhuman symbol - The title (TBD) Title suggestions: - Tales of the Alterhumans - Delta - Delta Tales/Tails - Paws and Tails - The People Behind the Masks - Tails and more Tales - An Alternate World - An Alternate Side - As Different as You - Just a Theory, are We Really Different
To choose a slot: 1. What would you rather be? A) a part of setting up for 'this is what the stories are', deciding the criteria and standards yourself B) a part of the main body of the book, with some expectations to live up to based on previous books C) the grand finale, expected to surpass the rest of the stories 2. How long do you want your story to be? A) 500-1000 words B) 1500-3000 words C) 750-2500 words 3. Would you rather create, follow, or surpass expectations? A) Create B) Follow C) Surpass 4. Do you write with structure and guidelines, or go with the flow? A) Go with the flow B) Structure C) Structure with my own twists! If you got mostly A) Go for slots 1-4! They're near the start, so you should be able to write less and still have an exceptional story. Remember, you're setting the standards; set them low or high, your choice! B) Go for slots 4-7! They're in the middle, so you'll be able to see what others' are like, and work towards the same standard and have an idea of what you're looking for. C) Go for slots 8-12! They're at the end, so you're working on creating a memorable finish to the compilation. The standards aren't a goal anymore, so much as a minimum, and you'll be expected to do as much as possible, so that others will remember our stories.
