Space/Click So this is my Ideal Island of Sodor or IOS for short. This series of projects is just me talking about my ideal Island of Sodor. Like my AU, My custom lore, all that stuff --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, Edward was purchased in 1902 to help build the railway, shunt trucks and pull coaches once the line was done. When Gordon was purchased in 1907, Edward was getting older, and Gordon was more powerful than Edward. So Gordon got to pull the coaches, while Edward shunted trucks. Henry came around in 1911, and he was needed for long freight journeys. When he realized that the freight was fish, he didn't like it at all. And that was the start of the Flying Kipper. After steaming failures, Henry went to the works and was rebuilt into an LMS Jubilee Class. And soon Henry was fixed. But when Henry was being fixed, Thomas was a substitute engine for Henry, he did pull the Kipper, pulling 4 vans at a time. When Henry came back from the works, Thomas was needed for shunting, so Thomas stayed. James came in 1919, and he was a substitute for Edward, while Edward was helping with Tidmouth Harbor, and Knapford Station. Percy came as a new arrival in 1923, and Thomas was eager to meet him. They met together, and they've become best friends. And as Edward finished up the harbor, and Knapford Station was complete, another new arrival came, not an engine, but something else... more on that later.
