"This project shows the moment Silverstream dies at Sunningrocks in the book Forest of Secrets. I wanted to capture the sadness Graystripe feels and the shock of his friend Fireheart watching it happen". The Kits: "I included the two kits, Featherkit and Stormkit, to show that even though Silverstream died, her legacy lived on through her children". The Colors: "I used cold/dark colors to represent the winter setting and the tragedy of the event". : "I used 'A Thousand Years' by Christina Perri because the line 'I have died every day waiting for you' represents how they could only see each other in secret. The chorus 'I have loved you for a thousand years' shows that even though Silverstream died, their love never ended".
