On the 5th of January 2026, The Corporation of Public Broadcasting officially shut down after 58 years following the federal fundings of PBS, PBS Kids and NPR being cut under Donald Trump. It served as the primary funder of PBS Kids. We gather here today, at the Cemetery Of Discontinued Non profit corporations, to commemorate the loss of a major, iconic part of The Corporation of Public Broadcasting’s era. Not to worry, PBS is not going away, because they still have a lot of support, which is so nice. So this means that not all hope is lost for PBS and PBS Kids.
