Jays leg's banged together as the cacophony of sound coming from the objects in the car filled his ears. "Are we there yet?" he moaned as he rolled down the window ; he immediately closed it due to the fact that the air outside on the motorway whipped his face and created a sound like a screaming child. In the car the City lights where mere specks in the background of the dry rolling fields and no longer green trees. "Are you OK back there?" Called his mom from the front seat. "Oh I'm great," called Jay in the most sarcastic voice he could muster "Just great." He was still in a bad mood , he had been since his mom had announced the news. His old home had been a beautiful cottage in the countryside covered in honeysuckle and full of all his favourite memories , memories of laughter of joyous singing and most of all memories of his father. A happy joyous man who deserved to live longer than he did. "But alas we cannot ponder on the past" he thought we must focus on the future which Jay thought was not looking good. The car hit a particularly high speed bump which seemed to bump Jay out of his thoughts and back to reality.
