Welcome to the first hands-on version of brokering stocks on Scratch, Make your mark-et! The line represents the overall trend of the market, with dots being put at the price of the stock at the end of the day. The most important tip I can give: buy low, sell high! Happy V 1.1.0!
A couple of keybinds: A shortcuts to buy, D shortcuts to sell. This game was created in the span of 24 hours. V 1.0.1: Added sound effects whenever stock was bought or sold, added basic background music. V 1.0.2: Added a color change on buttons during penalty periods to inform this action cannot be done. V 1.0.3: Added a permanent score system to show the best scores of all time after the game is complete. V 1.0.3x: Experimenting with features for V 1.1.0 V 1.1.0: New features: Added a color change to the stock indicator: the line is red when price is falling, the line is green when the price is rising. Added moments, gold moments (happens when you have more than $100000) multiply the value of stock by 5, lapis lazuli moments (happens in all servers at my discretion, triggers when having more than $3,000) multiply the value of stock by 10 (can be indicated with a flashing blue circle in bottom left corner), added a permanent leaderboard to track how fast it takes players to complete the game (currently buggy, bugfixes will be implemented soon), added a command panel for owners or others to change the game. Changes: Increased ending cash limit from $10,000 to $100,000, the value of the stock will become predicted in advance instead of randomized on the spot, scaling feature implemented (scaling only occurs during moments, read above). Bugfixes: Fixed exploit where the buttons can be held down, leading to purchasing multiple times a second. V 1.1.1: Changed moment backgrounds for consistency reasons
