Some random day in summer last year (2025) I was at my grandparents house and some random guy came knocking at the door looking to buy their old Dodge B2500 van that they just left in a field for the last 3 years. Me and my grandpa got it running and we started to clean it out to sell. Until my grandpa turned on the stereo, and it literally made the ground shake around it. It was amazing. I then said to him "You can't sell this" and they were willing to give it to me instead. The Van had always been their adventure wagon for off grid camping and the like, with a full queen size bed in the rear. But they were ready to get rid of it, to make space for a new adventure vehicle, and that's why they were willing to sell it in the first place, before I intervened. The Van was originally a fleet (work) vehicle for the job my grandpa worked at, until he bought it from them when they retired it sometime around 2003. They had it for about a year as an empty cargo van before they did the conversion.
