He wanted to just throw a bag over his head, but then an important person in his life found a box that looked like his eyes and said to Jacob, that if Jacob wore it, it would have two uses. 1: He could hide his face from others. 2: He and everyone else would eventually get used to the sight of his face and his eyes would no longer seem so strange.
