It's fast now! BlockBit is a currency for Scratch, the idea being that you can sell things like intros, outros, pfps, and so on in exchange for BlockBit, or give it as a prize for winning a contest. Also, this is designed in such a way that you never need to share your key - however, it isn't an issue if you do.
