Hi guys! Sorry it's been a while!!! I hope you like this chapter First chapter: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/123465734 Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1254346037 Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269233032
The rest of the morning went as such; 1st block: Music elective. -She plays flute too and it’s free seating among sections. So of course she sat next to me. My heart was pounding the entire time. 2nd block: Math class - Luckily, we are not next to each other, and I’m directly in front of Adrian. The teacher is a cheerful woman who likes plants. This will be a fun year with her. 3rd block: P.E -Incredibly boring. Almost nothing but get to know yous. Plus side, I was grouped with Alex! 4th block: ELA -She is right behind me. It takes all of my willpower not to look behind myself every second. Alex is a few rows away, so I’m alone in this battle. 5th block:Lunch and current. Somehow, in between all of the first day hassle, I managed to invite Fox to eat lunch with me. We were walking there together now. “Hey! Alex, Adrian, could we sit with you?” I called out when I saw them. They were sitting next to each other on one of those iconic high school lunch tables. “Yeah sure.” Adrian muttered. He looked nervous, maybe it was because I had a new person? But I’d already introduced her to them. I sat down across from them and Fox sat next to me. We ended up across from the non girl peoples (for lack of a better term). “How were your mornings?” Fox asked us with a charming smile. “Good, my social studies teacher is really nice. And, the other clarinet people are super nice,” Adrian answered first. “All of my teachers are pretty awesome, and the rest of the band's flutes seem nice too!” I replied. We kept chatting about the day and how the new school was. “Oooohh, do any of you like the show Redo?” Alex asked. “Yeah! My sister likes that show too,” I said. “Wait, you have a sister?” Adrian inquired. He looked at me curiously. “Yeah, she has an older sister and a younger brother,” Fox replied. I was so startled by her talking that I almost forgot something important. “No, I have two sisters. Are you thinking of Liana? She’s my younger sibling,” I interjected. Fox looked confused, then she gasped and seemed to understand. “Oh, she goes by Liana now? I’m sorry! I’d love to talk to her again though,” She apologized profusely and corrected the pronoun immediately. I consoled her, telling her it was fine, but then Alex spoke up. “Wait, how do you two know each other so well?” They asked us. “Oh! We went to elementary school together, and then I moved away. My family then moved back, and now we're in the same homeroom! Crazy right?” I explained and took a bite of my sandwich. “I think you’re leaving out the important detail that we were best friends! Remember how we met? I was being teased and you just straight up punched the boy? When I apologized for getting you in trouble, you said, ‘It’s worth it! Aren’t we friends?’. It was so cute! After that, we were best friends,” Fox said. She had a dreamy look on her face. “Can we be best friends again?” She asked. “Always,” I replied.
