I'm just making this project for myself as a little sort of celebration/checkpoint for me making art. I ramble in this one, I'm just talking into the void (it's fun). [All of these characters are personal OCs, mostly from the same universe (CHAOS). And I invented most of them when I was a mentally ill middle schooler so you can't judge them B)] 1. September Scales :D I want to redraw her regular (humanoid) form digitally but I've been struggling to figure out her colors :') color has never been my strongsuit- but I def think I've been getting better at it!!! I feel like she should look at least a *little* bit more psychotic to be true to her character, but eh 2. Akari Dark <333 She is SO hard for me to draw,, even though I like her so much. :( I feel like her proportions are slightly different every time I draw her.. but yeah. I hope she doesn't look too weird?? She's meant to be canonically pretty T0T 3. You can't mess up the colors and rendering if you just never do it B) 4. REXIE HEARTS mY favorite manic pixie candy emo <333333 I keep obsessing over her help. she is in angst, I lowkey want to make rlly edgy animatics with her. Or just make like, really silly PMVs of her and Akari who I obviously have no urges to ship her with (*my demons yearn for toxic yuri*) Update cause I’ve been writing different parts of this description at different points in time, there is now someone else she has yuri drama with… (this is why my male characters get no development btw. I can’t stop writing girls yearning for girls-) 5. I tried to finish rendering her drawing but I didn’t like it and gave up on fixing it :') rip I still have a long way to go with art.. 6. Rexie's fox form (it's fairly normal in this universe to have a shapeshift form, though not everyone has one.) Ignore her scrangly paw I can't draw straight or orderly lines this just how I roll 7. Amber's mouse form sketch that I tried to color but it was looking bad so I gave up B) (Amber is a very complicated character who started as an uwu magical girl Mary Sue self insert I will never let her die and she will get lots of angst and trauma and plot relevance) also I know she doesn't look like an actual mouse so I just decided she's a fictional mouse species that's more physiologically similar to a cat because I don't want to change her 8. Skyler Dawn, I love her even tho she isn’t very plot relevant—she does have a story tho and a character arc. The angry squirrel on her head is her adopted idiot friend Button in shapeshift form 9. Fusion design of venipede and umbreon, that I designed for PotHS, cause I was thinking about rejoining (I technically had a character when I was like 12 LOL I saw it still existed and it lowkey made me emotional) but I just haven't had the motivation to finish his bio so IDK he's a new character, I was also trying to redesign my original one but I was having a hard time lol (og was a Victini-Litten named Skyfire) 9-10. Rexie sketches <3333 11-12. SEPTEMBER!! Her design had changed a few times, but I'm kind of leaning more towards her original one?? I also changed her horns, which were like, one of her more unique features U_U I was just not vibing with them anymore tbh (they were big n kinda goofy) During my teenage days this character was lowkey insufferable ---v--- I've been rewriting her to where she's annoying and rebellious but she's actually smarter about it and does it in a likeable way (so many of my old ocs were just bad people WHY DID I WANT PEOPLE TO LIKE THEM) 13. when u mess up like 10 times but you're drawing in pen so you just... scribble frantically 14. Marigold (immortal crazy lady) shapeshift form sketch- she used to be able to shapeshift into a fox and a deer but I have made her shapeshifting more efficient B) she lookin goofy here cause her snout is pointing down too much but oh well I thought the doodle was fun 15. Concept sketches for Jaxyln, WIP character bc September's original love interest was somebody else's RP character x_x I have yet to make a good shapeshift form drawing but her shapeshift form is gonna be a crow cockatrice :D 20. AKARI. Akari Dark my beloved (btw her name translates essentially to “Light Dark” LMAO I can’t even remember if I did that on purpose back when I originally named her 21. Amber- if it looks like she’s constantly tweakin it’s cause she is girl has terrible mental health lol
