Heyo! Said I'd so an art summary eventually so here it is!! Yippee!! >:D I know most people did there's late December or Jan 1st, but I actually have an explanation for why I'm doing it a week into January. Today is January 1st. You might think its not, but the calandar is lying to you, its not the 7th or any day following depending on when you see this. Subtract 7 days from whatever date you think it is. So I'm not late, you're a week early. I'm half joking when I say that, but in all honesty I finished all my college apps on the 5th, and was too busy to even start most of my resolutions so I'm giving myself a grace period, my 2026 starts TODAY RAAAHHHHH!!! Before I get to yapping, I'll do a quick overview and then its reflection time! 1. Overview of the year! You might notice if you've followed me for a while that I've never posted the masterpiece of the year anywhere. That's cuz this is a sneak peak and its getting its own project... eventually. Its a AP art piece so I'm waiting to get revisions and then I'll reveal it in full, so uhhhh you should wait around a little, if you don't you'll miss out nooooo!! 2. DMC entry for @-honeywafflez- Not my best, but I had two options for Jan and this is the least mid. But I guess its good January looks less impressive to me, it means I improved! 3. My angel/demon ocs with @DiamondSoloist28's oc Alice! GO FOLLOW HER NOW!! Also not the biggest fan of this one anymore, dw, I'll draw them so much more TRUST!! 4. DMC entry for @StarryDoodlz lowkey killed it on the bg 5. Comm for an irl friend. Lowkey didn't kill it on anything T>T 6. DMC entry for tea_bubbles- and also my most popular project. Probably because it got raided by bots like 5 times, but we take dubs where we can 7. Mer-may art in June!! Dw now that the timelines shifted back by a week, technically its on time. This is where my art actually gets good. 8. Artfight attack for @arhicopter! I made the most art in July so it was really hard to pick but I do like my use of color in this and I think it shows the most skill out of all of them. 9. AP art piece! Still have to fix the lil corner me, but otherwise, I'm still super proud of this! 10. Prize for Anyway, I'm almost at 300 followers, be on the lookout for an event hehe 11. I apparently made no digital art in October, I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't draw any trad art either, school is such a pain T0T 12. Art poster I made for my brother's birthday. On that note MHA FINAL SEASON IS PEAK!! Someone plsss talk to me abt it I love the show so much <33 13. Prize for Decided not to do my redraw cuz I didn't finish it in time, but I lowkey cooked on this one too so who cares >:D Okay, I admit that overview wasn't very quick hehe :') Anyway, if you're still here, I just wanna say thanks for a great 2025!! :D Of course it wasn't a perfect year, but I met and talked to so many cool people, met a bunch of artists I admire, and made a bunch of cool art! I really enjoy my time on here and here's too hoping 2026 goes the same! Looking back I made a little over 60 digital art pieces, which is like a record for me, and I think my improvement, though steady and not very drastic, is really visible and I'm proud of my growth. This year I really really wanna get back on my art study grind. At some point I did gesture drawings every day and watched art tutorials in the background of all my busy work, and I want get back to that. I think my anatomy has faltered a bit and I really REALLY wanna get good at rendering this year, as I feel that would upgrade my art more than anything. I'm gonna try to focus on an art foundation each month and see how that goes. And I'm gonna actually study artists I admire, because I've barely ever done that, it seems like common sense, but I've been slacking T>T The other thing I've made note of multiple times is that I don't draw my OC's nearly enough! Two, only TWO of the pieces I showed are of my ocs. I love doing DMCs and drawing for others but this is highkey unacceptable. If there's one thing that's gonna change this year, its that I will yap and draw my ocs so much it'll be obnoxious. I already have a massive project I'm brainstorming, so you guys better be ready!! And yeah. I don't know if anyone actually reads my full descriptions, but I like letting my thoughts out here. If you did read it all, I hope it wasn't too boing. 2026 is gonna be our year!!
