I tried drawing in my old artstyle (with improvements obviously so its like a mix between my current and old one) and i lwk miss it so i might start drawing in it more often ------- - different artstyle aside, i really like this character!! She's so cute omg!!! The second i saw her design i fell in love! Her hat and honestly her overall outfit make me so happy idk why rahhh ------------------------------ Character info! - She/her - Name: Kasya Norwood (but her family calls her Снежинка ((Snezhinka)) - meaning snowflake in Russian) - Nationality: Russian + Norwegian - Bi - 5'4" - Adventurer and collector ------------------------------ Kasya was born into a group of wandering merchants traversing the cold harsh climates of the Norwegian mountain range, trying to make a living. From a young age, she always had an interest in rocks. yes... rocks. Even as a young toddler, she always had a small pile of pebbles that she would always bring along whenever the merchant group would leave their current camp to move to a new one. Her fascination to stones and that of the like must've come from her father, who was one of the best blacksmiths in the land, and someone that she greatly looked up to. Her mother, on the otherhand, was a tailor, who sewed warm clothes to sell to the residents of the towns that the merchant group passed by on their travels. In fact, Kasya's hood and hat were made by her mother. - When she grew older, Kasya became a hardworking member of the merchant crew, who worked alongside her childhood friend, Astrid. Their families had met on a particularly cold winter, and Astrid (who was 6 at the time - same age as Kasya) 's family had gotten lost in a blizzard, before the merchant group stumbled across the family, and the family joined the wandering merchant group in hopes for shelter and to repay being found and rescued from near death by the group. Ever since then, Astrid and Kasya had been the best of friends, working together as cook (Astrid) and apprentice blacksmith (Kasya) -------- apologies if this backstory/lore sounds a bit all over the place, i wrote this at 10:30 at night and im tired- -------- also this was also partly an excuse to draw a character and make her russian because i realised i have no characters (ik Kasya isnt actually my character - yet hehe - but ykwim) that are the same nationality as me lol
