Greenland itself doesn't have a Lutheran synod, but it does adapt Danish Lutheran synods (which is why it is marked as no Lutheran synods, as they have to be FOUNDED in that country.) Same thing for Palestine, but the opposite (there is a Palestinian-Jordanian Lutheran synod, but not an "Israeli" Lutheran synod, so Israel was marked as having no Lutheran synod of it's own, but the Palestinian territories are maked as having a synod.) *federation refers to Laestadian federations (Conservative, Firstborn, Torola, Rauhan Sana, etc) but not individual synods (LLC, ALCA, OALC, etc)
NOTES - Eritieria is a mix of light green and brown. The only 2 synods are also part of the only "government" allowed religions in Eritieria, making all other non-registered synods illegal (Eriteria only has 4 legal religions: Lutheranism, Catholicism, Orthodoxy and Sunni Islam) - Ethiopia is a mix of light yellow and purple: Mekane Yesus is Pietist (as well as partislly Presby) in theology, but is part of the LWF.
