Acting as a conduit for the Holy Seal's innate divine power, Papal Perihelion was forged (and named) by the Omnipope. Not only is it the staff which he casts divine spells from, it's also made of predominantly bronze, with gold and heliodor (cool beryl) in it as well. Getting whacked with this in the face would kinda hurt, not to mention the spike at the bottom. Basically, it's a cooler cross.
