Falling. It’s the first thing I say to myself. “I’m falling.” I’m not wrong though. I am falling. As you probably know, a little knowledge makes many things easier to understand, so I’ll give you some. Yes, I know I already did one of these, but once more, here’s a recap—or as I like to call it: a ✧ SUMMARY ✧ —speedy edition: So basically I found this friend named Nyghtshade, and Nyghtshade basically talked to me and stuff and I took this mentioned friend to The Dark Space and we eventually fell through the floor and landed in this room. And this room had one door that led to the same room, and if you were gonna do something in room A, then as you open the door to room B, you see a little flash of what’ll happen in the future for that room. Like, I left a cup of tea in room A, then room B showed the tea spilled, and when I went into room B, I accidentally tripped on the cup and thus, the puddle was in the exact same shape as the room B flash depicted. Then I tried kicking down the door and it led to like space or something cuz there were a bunch of sparkling lights and then the light were actually like LED bulbs or something because they turned black and bled luminescent fluid as it dripped to the center of the small “space” room thingy and there was a crack in the floor and it opened and then like invisible tentacles came and the door was closing on top of me and then I was pulled into the room and the floor opened and now I’m FALLING. huff…puff… So yeah. And now I’m fall- HOLY MOLY IS THAT THE FLOOR- WHACK!!! “Owww….” So… You’re caught up now. And despite how much I want to know, I have nothing else to tell you. Because right now, I have no idea where I am. It’s dark, that’s for sure. A thought crosses my mind. “Am I dead?” No. Couldn’t be. It’s too dark. Right? There’s nothing but silence for about 13 seconds until, suddenly, a voice calls out of the darkness, the only thing I can hear apart from my breath. It sounds…familiar in a sense. I hear the voice, growing louder and louder. Repeating the same dull, meaningless sentence over and over. “Anyone out there?” And with that, I suddenly realize why I sense such familiarity in the voice. It’s—like a young woman’s. I hear the voice from behind me, causing me to turn at a ridiculous speed. So ridiculous, it hurts my neck. I see two eyes, defying the laws of light, as they glow— and only they glow—through the darkness. Nothing else is visible, until I hear a squelching noise. A third eye has opened. The figure is now barely visible, and they walk out of the darkness. About my height, with perked hair, one side is short, the other reaches to a strange shoulder. They wear a buttoned shirt, and a friveled skirt. (Hehe that rhymed-) I realize that they have no mouth as the figure continues to walk towards me. Fully out of the darkness now, I know that somehow, in some way, this is for sure, 100%, totally, absolutely, uh- some supportive words to prove my point or something, The Wraith. “You’re here too?” I’m asked in a quite rude manner. “Yeah… but what exactly is “here”?” “Not sure.” “What-” “You heard me.” “But, how could you NOT know? This is YOUR home, after all.” ”Well, you know how there’s always that one part of the attic that you never go to in YOUR house? That’s what this is to me. I’ve never been here before. This is my version of an unexplored attic, and all of this is new to me.” “Oh.” My expression fades, realizing that not even the owner of this space knows what this is. “Wait-“ I ponder aloud. “Why are you… like…my size?” “Well…It’s kind of a long story. However, I could ✧ SUMMARIZE ✧. “Uh… sure.” [CONTINUE BELOW]
“All right. So basically…I had been searching for you and your friend—the annoying one whom I despise—and I had gone to the outfits area to see a hole in the floor. I walked into it, and immediately fell. I saw your acquaintance as I fell, and the spiderling, who I suppose goes by “Gen”, due to the fact that it was written on the floor in webs. I fell right through the inky black floor they stood on, and I lost my sight and consciousness. When I woke, I was in this body, unable to transform or change back, confused and looking around the new space that we are in right now. I also seem to have lost many of my abilities, as I can no longer teleport, hover, float, fly, nor sprout tentacles. It disgusts me. I’m just like those no-good filthy humans now. Powerless, merciless, and rotten at the core, despite how kind they seem on the outside. All a facade…All a lie…Lying about kindness…” The Wraith perks up and looks to me. “Oop- Forgot you were there. So, what happened to you?” ”Oh, uh…Basically the same thing, but without that falling through the floor bit, since I came to a room that repeated infinitely until I kicked down the door, in which then I fell through the floor and probably broke the fourth wall while falling.” ”Oh…”. Seemingly out of nowhere, the entire world lights up, revealing a stony environment, with some foliage and moss growing around. A huge town-like environment appears, and my eyes go wide with fascination. There’s a grand gate in front of us now, with an arched sign overhead that reads, “Welcome to The Bright Space!” In colorful letters. The entire world seems peaceful and happy, and I can observe some of the townsfolk smiling and dancing together. Nothing but happiness. The Wraith’s eyes squint in disgust.
