This character, named Ari, is a spaceship/robot in a Sonic The Hedgehog fangame I'm working on. It is made to look like a meerkat, like you said. It is actually fully functional for the most part. Lore: Ari was made by Tails, Jade (OC of mine), Sonic, and Knuckles, to be used for space expeditions or other air travel. It has another name, ASTAV, which stands for AeroSpace Travel Assistance Vehicle. One night, it was left out in the rain, and one circuit was affected. This was not a problem, however it created an "elemental soul" (soul created from elements or inanimate things) out of electric sparks. It was also originally made to be able to help do things inside the Skyport, the base where the Freedom Fighters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Jade, Silver, Blaze, Shadow, etc) live for the most part, but it was too big for the main room and is usually stored in the garage or training grounds. It runs on biofuel, and gets that from waste in the Skyport. It flies via the rockets on its back, and has backup rockets in its feet. It can carry 6 passengers, and has two entry/exit points: through the leg or the chest. It has a few wires sticking out, however that is harmless. It has two eyes, but rarely opens one of them because dripping paint got into it and ruined the vision in that eye. It rarely malfunctions, only once or twice every 365 days, however it could be more if it didn't literally have a soul Ari actually uses they/them, so I did them a disservice by writing it/its pronouns lol... some other things: - Ari is 64'6" and is usually in the attic/garage of the Skyport because it has a roof hatch for them to take off through - I haven't done all the dimension calculations yet - They run the training grounds, which you can go to at any point in the game - The Skyport (where the Freedom Fighters live, just to make it clear) is also a save/resting point, and some of the most comedic character interactions happen there - Ari is excitable and smart but a little shy and can be a little lost in thought Oh, this might've been written already but Ari can be unlocked as a playable. They become small in that mode, but if you haven't unlocked the secrets menu when you close the game it goes back to normal and they're just an NPC.
