ANSWERED QUESTIONS IN INSTRUCTIONS NOT PROJECT Requirements to apply: 1. You have been a curator for at least 3 months. Yes 2. You are an active user, someone a regular CHQ-goer would recognize. Yes 3. You are knowledgeable in the faith. Yes 4. Your beliefs do not contradict the views of Christianity (For example, you must be Trinitarian). yes 5. You have and show leadership skills. Yes Q 1. How did you become a Christian and why? I’ve been Christian since birth and have had an interesting up and down faith in the past years. I recently started taking it seriously and looking into things, though. Q 2. How are we saved? Through Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. :) (John 3:16) Q 3. What do you believe about Satan? He will try to sway us and make us doubt his will. A month or two ago I broke down crying because I was SEVERELY doubting God’s will. But I feel after a while, I feel calm. I finally understand that Jesus has a plan for me and I might not always understand everything, but I know that He has an answer I might never figure out. And life will be up and down, Jesus never said we’d have a safe life because this world is full of evil. :) (1 Peter 5:8) Q 4. Do you think there is a spiritual world around us? Yes, I believe Heaven and Hell (hopefully this is what you mean help) exist, and depending on if we had a faith in Christ, we go there. (Matthew 25:46) Q 5. What is the difference between justification and sanctification? I sadly had to look this up, believe it or not I’ve never really heard about this but I’m sure I’ve learned about it to some extent, I should look into it more lol, But the answer is justification is a declaration of one’s faith, and sanctification is actively being in the faith and growing in it. (Romans 10:9) Q 6. Do you believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? Yes, I believe in the Trinity :) (Isaiah 48:16 ❤️ ) Q 7. Is it important to spend time with God and if so, why? Because as you spend time with Him you discover His wisdom and love for you, and allow yourself to connect with them. I know this is true because if I skip out reading a Bible verse or not praying I feel empty, like literal sadness in my heart ToT (Ephesians 3:19, James 4:8) Q 8. Thoughts on the LGBTQ+ community and being a Christian? I personally do not agree with the LGBTQ+ community and choose not to participate in it. I believe that when you want to ‘change’ yourself, it is basically declaring to God’s face that you are not perfect in the way He made you and His image is wrong. However, I will treat everyone with kindness no matter who they are, everyone deserves to be loved and respected and I treat them no differently. I have a lot of friends who are LGBTQ+ and it’s never obviously the first thing on my mind about them whenever I’m with them; they are the same just as me. (Romans 12:2, Romans 8:6, Luke 6:37) Q 9. How should we act towards people who don't agree with us and whom we don't agree with? Treat them with respect and kindness as you do to anyone, they are the same people, they are humans just like us. Because their beliefs are different does not mean we are any higher than them. Mark 12:31 - “The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.” Love God. Love people. The most important things. Q 10. Will you be charitable, and assume good faith towards everyone? Is this important? Why or why not? Yes, this is very important especially when presenting yourself as a Christian because ultimately the way you talk to them might find the person stereotyping the entirely of Christians as whole, good or bad. We should be charitable and kind, also, as the Bible says in Ephesians 4:32 - “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” (John 3:16-18) Q 11. How will you respond to difficult questions, rude behavior, or controversial comments? In a nice, casual tone. I’ve seen many people who comment here on CHQ obviously trying to stir up arguments get their security taken down by casually talking to them and changing the subject, I think it’s the best possible way to handle it imo. (Luke 6:27-31) Q 12. What experience do you have in leadership roles? I run my own Christian Questions studio but sadly activity has declined in the past few months :( there are a few managers there though Q 13. How active will you be in CHQ? Do you foresee yourself regularly delegating your time to CHQ, understanding failure to do so may cause a demotion? I will try to at least be act every 2 days :) and yes I do Q 14. Why do you want to be a manager? To help people, spread His word (ofc), invite them, and welcome them to our community ❤️ (Isaiah 41:10) Have a great day and God Bless!
