That did not just happen. Pearl could not believe all it took to wake him up was WATER. /Well, I guess it does make sense, he would react to water./ Why didn’t it kill him? She doesn’t have time for these questions right now, focus on the task at hand, then put information together later. Martyn and Grian helped Tango up. They placed some blocks and sat him down. “So… Hello!” Immediately Tango was getting bombarded by questions, mainly by Grian and Martyn. Pearl had asked two: “Are you ok?” And “What do you remember last?” Both of which Tango could not answer. Disappointed, the group came together to come to a conclusion. “He knows absolutely nothing!” Grain exclaimed, then turned to the now dozing off tango to ask him yet another of his questions. “Is Jimmy still alive?” Tango jumped up, out of worry. “...WHAT?” What does Grian mean when he means that? Does that mean that his Rancher is dead? Pearl saw the worried expression on his face, “When have you last seen him?” Martyn questioned. “Oh! Uhm, he just left… to go to Scott? Or something like that!” Pearl flinched at the name. The three were stumped. If Jimmy had gone to Scott’s place, it was entirely possible for him to have died there. The only problem being that dying twice in a row, and leaving the soulmate behind, was not possible by words of the watcher with them. “Should we go ask Scott? He might have seen what happened” Pearl was quick to respond, “No! I think we could do it without him.” She was certain that he was not needed, and it would save her an interaction with the one she hates the most. “Sure,” Grian replied halfheartedly, he personally did not care for the relationship between her and Scott, only was aware that Pearl would do anything in her power to stay away from him. “How about me and Martyn go instead? We need someone to take care of Tango.” Pearl hated being left out, but between the two options, she chose the latter. ~~~ “Tango?” The Blazeborn jumped at the sound of his name, “Do you think you can stand? It’s almost night, and I’m not sure if it's a good idea if we stay here.” Since he had woken up, Tango was sitting on the same log Grian and Martyn put him on. Scary monsters hadn’t even crossed his mind, and the seemingly endless amount of questions did not seem to help either. He was, of course, in a small sense of shock. When awakened, he could almost feel the hours of his life missing in his mind, hollow and empty, which should've been filled with memories of him and his rancher. News of his beloved actually being gone had caused his brian quite the commotion, something between grief and astonishment. How had he managed to pull that off? He supposed he knew since the beginning, they were going to be out first. He did feel quite at fault for it, having caused their first death. What a pathetic way to find a soulmate. “Hello? Earth to Tango~?” Pearl had seemed to have calmed down a bit. He could barely muster a whisper, “Sure.” She attempted to lift him up. Even while using all her force, they could only get so far. “Tango you gotta help me, I can’t lift you by myself.” “I-I’m trying!!” ~~~ Once they were able to make it back to his ranch, Tango seemed to have collapsed from exhaustion. Pearl was alarmed by his sudden movements, although the panic wasn’t visible on her face. “I’ll go get something to eat, your bar must be almost empty by now” Tango hummed in acknowledgement. He wasn’t actually listening. Pearl cooked some beef and set it next to Tango. The other seemed to have dozed off, I’ll leave this here for him when he wakes. The Aussie, having nothing else to do, sat next to Tango to watch over him. ~~~
