CBMV Moderation Checklist: 1. Main Concept + Clarity Is the project’s core idea explained? Is there a core concept? Will a new reader need extra context to understand the project? Is there an obvious scope for the contents of the project? 2. Logic + Consistency Are the rules of the universe being followed consistently? Are things such as technology, politics, and capabilities explained? Does it respect cause-and-effect relationships? Are there contradictions? 3. Power + Balance Are there weaknesses that balance strengths? Is the project vulnerable to failure, losses, or consequences? Are rivals, enemies, constraints, etc. acknowledged? Does the project avoid an insta-win mentality? 4. Plausibility Do developments make sense with the established era and technology? Are timelines reasonable pertaining to economic, military, and scientific growth? Is it intentionally unrealistic? Is this stated, or clearly understood by the individual? 5. Effort + Originality Is there obvious personal effort displayed by the project Are there unique ideas (IE, More than just boring larp that steals everything from Star Wars) Are inspirations, sources, or references acknowledged and listed when relevant? Is the project more than just a single paragraph? Does the individual make an attempt to utilize proper grammar, etc? 6. Member Interaction + Fair Play Does this project provide opportunities for meaningful interaction with others? Are outcomes open to negotiation, predetermined systems (Such as those for war and economics), or Administrator determination? Are losses and setbacks realized? Are forced outcomes avoided? Powerplay? Metagaming? 7. Tone + Community Fit Does the project match the serious, professional tone of the community? Is it respectful to other members and staff? 8. Rules, Safety, Etiquette Compliance Does it follow Scratch and Community guidelines? Are sensitive topics handled delicately? Are the holdings of Administrators respected and held?
