CHAPTER 7: "The Vacation " (part 2) Tails, Snow and Cream waited behind Amy’s house. The girl quickly changed clothes, took a towel and returned to friends. Now they can go. --- Once everyone arrived to the Emerald Coast, they set equipment. Sonic placed lounges, Knuckles organized an area for volley ball. --- Finish. Sonic and Knuckles play volleyball. Silver and Blaze are sunbathing. Cream builds sand castles. Snow, Tails and Amy play in water. The joy is audible. “Hey, Blaze! Will you join us?” – Snow asked. “Thank you, but I don't really like the water.” – Cat explained. “Okay!” – Arctic Fox wasn’t disappointed. --- “You sure we can trust him? What if he's a spy?” – Knuckles concerned about the newcomer. – [First Rouge, now this… Kid.] “Oh, c'mon! Where have you seen a spy who asks for your signature and hugs your friends?” – [By this definition, Amy is a spy. That’s just ridiculous!] “Well...” – [In some movies.] “I understand your concern. I know you dislike changes,but now he's with us. You should open your heart to him.” “What's gonna happen to us...” – [First the Bat, now Arctic Fox… We’re doomed.] --- Rouge flew to Sonic’s village. – “Hey?” No response. Everyone, except for Vanilla, went to the Emerald Coast. “It seems like they aren't home. Well, someone might return sooner or later. She sit on the top of a palm and looked at Master Emerald. – “So shiny... But I couldn't take it away. Sonic might be mad if I try to do so... Hm, well.” The Bat flew away to the waterfall. Beautiful place. She stared at the crystal-clear water and… Something sparkled there. Now the sunny water. Something else. “What's this?” – she put off the glove and dipped hand in water. A perfect geometric object. Blue Chaos Emerald! “A Chaos Emerald?” – girl shook off her hand from water and put on the glove. Now she is snuggling the find to herself. – “Mine!” The Bat went back to her temporal hiding spot. There was an improvised chair. – [But what would I do with it? A splendid stone... Source of power... Dangerous in wrong hands.] – she thought while inspecting Chaos Emerald. - [I'll keep it for myself. No. I'll give it to Sonic. Or keep it…?] – Difficult decision. Love for shiny stuff and own needs, versus moral and teamwork. - [Team Sonic is collecting the Emeralds, so keeping it for me just because I like it is wrong. Maybe give it to Shadow? – He has only one, and it is already enough for him. Team needs it more. The right choice will be to give it to the blue Hedgehog. He knows how to use the Chaos Emeralds. I'll find myself another brilliant jewel.] – she finally decided. – [I’m sorry, Shadow.] --- Everyone now laying under a warm sun. “Hey, Silver! Would you mind telling me about yourself? I am curious.” – Snow asked hopefully, tail wagging from genuine curiosity. “Hm, well, me and Blaze are from the Sol Dimension; we live in a castle, Serenum Kingdome. I am responsible for keeping the future safe.” “Ooh! That sounds so fun!” “Well, it's pretty exhausting. I may get lost in days and even forget about the holidays.” – Hedgehog mentioned the side effects of current responsibility. “That is why I am always besides him. “ – Blaze noticed. “Exactly.” – Silver nodded to ensure. “You could say we are like brother and sister, inseparable.” Sonic started to call everyone. - “Hey guys! I think it's time to return home!” They spent a half of the day at the Emerald Coast. But what about Shadow? – He is collecting materials for picnic since the morning. Preparing food, weaving a basket, thanking Maria for the given skills in the past. Soon everything will be ready.
