ok so today like over 500 kids at least (between 2 schools) walked out of school at 12 to protest against ice, like one of the reasons was bc they k1ll3d a woman for like no reason on Wednesday I think, and like holy crap bro, I heard that like a bunch of them walked downtown and to city hall with like SIGNS too and stuff like WOAH! I did not participate, mainly bc at the time, I didn't know what it was abt and I thought it might just be like the last "walkout" (didn't actually happen) which was abt Spotify being blocked on school computers...lol... but this one was like an actual- like woaahhh! but also I didn't want to like get in trouble bc a lot of kids did, YES it was a good cause, but dang bro like my parents probs would think it was a good cause too, but I DON'T WANT to get in TROUBLE (yes ik this is a dumb reason) and yeah some were like full on protesting outside city hall but then some were also just going to mcdonalds .....that's uh nice... but shoutout to the actual protesters who DIDN;t just do this to skip school! y'all are amazing we need more kid activists XD UPDATE ! I was texting my friends Abt it when I got home from school (some were gone tday bc of sickness or SMTH) and ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS WAS IN THE PROTEST!!! she said it was super cool (some ppl flipped her off LOL TvT) and I am sooooooooo jealous she said like some parents came and like made signs -she said specifically she was holding up signs by like a road and playing jax toy like... ok lol TvT- I wish I had gone!! altho my dad would be v mad at me lol ALSO THEY WERE ON THE NEWS like some of my older brother's friends are on TV I THINK WOAHHHHHH -tho I am sorta glad I didn't go, like when I came home from school my [strictt] dad thought I might have went and he was like 'sO did u skip SCHOOL??' bro I do still kinda wish I did it BUT I would be cooked bc a lot of kids got in trouble for it (which is dumb :D)
