Song: Parle à ta tête by Indila Space/click Thanks to @Warriorcats4life9 for the code I use Scratch and a program called Kleki to do art PROCESS: Sketch 1 - Planning out where Ford kitty was and how he should be posed. Sketches 2, 3 & 4 - Figuring out where Stan kitty was supposed to be. This took some finagling... Rough Outline (Ford) - This is to plan out details, such as face and fur. Rough Outline (Stan) - Once again, planning details. I wanted Stan and Ford looking at each other, so this was to figure out where to put their pupils. I also had to fit Stan's fez on his head. Combined Rough Outline - This is to figure out what parts of Stan needed to be erased in the lineart. Lineart - This is to clean up the lines and cut our unnecessary pieces of the sketch & rough outline. (I did forget Ford's paw though. Oops!) Colored Lineart - This is to help the colors blend better (and make the art "softer" or something? Idk...) This is also to fix mistakes in the lineart (and give Ford his paw back. Base Colors - This is to help figure out where the main colors are to help with shading. Also to put in the non-outline pieces (like the lighter fluff on Ford's ears.) Shading - This is to make the characters look a little less flat and boring. It also makes the drawing look more dramatic. Backdrop - I muted the colors on the background a bit, to draw attention to the characters and to keep the final art from getting overwhelming. All parts - This is to get a feel for the final art and helps me figure out what to add/take away. Highlights - This is to make the characters pop off the background. I traced around them with white and blurred it afterwards. Text - It was a bit finicky trying to figure out where to place the text and figuring out what color to make it, but I'm happy with the final result.
