Let's get this out of the way, I LOVE death metal and deathcore. But, it's also important to do it right. Most modern metal is deathcore or death, but 90% do it absolutely wrong. You can't just make heavy guitars, constant blast beats, and fry screams and call it a day. You have to make your music non-repetitive and unique. Bands that accomplish these well are Spite, Make Them Suffer, and Cannibal Corpse. All of these bands have some sort of variety. But the new bands just throw that out the window, like bro. And don't go crying about the songs message. Big dog, nobody can understand your grumbling. Again, to make good death metal, just make it unique. It's not that hard, just think for a second :)
