They may also display signs of anxiety including hiding, avoiding peer contact and being extremely sensitive to external stimuli. (Making human symptoms into symptoms for cats..) Cats might become hyper-fixated on an object or activity with unusual intensity or focus. (Specifically for Newt) Cats might not want to participate in mimicking of others or take part in believe-play (or playfighting). Another symptom might be where cats might not want to be held/cuddled and might prefer to play alone, retreating into their own world. ᨒ↟ ˚ How Newt Might Be Affected ˚↟ᨒ Newtkit might specifically suffer from these symptoms. Symptoms 1-3 could affect his ability to function within a clan setting, especially later on in life, due to the erratic nature of his repeated behaviors, excessive vocalization, and especially having the trouble to adapt to change, as clan life can change very quickly, especially during leaf-bare. Newtkit might suffer from hyper-fixation as well. Getting stuck on a certain issue might affect his ability to become a warrior as he gets to apprenticeship and training. Getting stuck on a failed task can severely inhibit his ability to move on to other tasks. Not wanting to participate in playfights might not be the biggest worry for Newtkit, but he might lack in the social skills he might need later on in life, to deal with nasty cats or border issues or deal with anger he keeps inside.
