15 seconds from the never-finished Egg vs Waju fight collab. Thank you all for waiting. Sadly, this project will never be completed. I stopped working on it quite some time ago and haven’t felt the motivation or seen a real reason to return to it. After Waju’s part 3, I told him I was going to create an insanely long, highly polished like my part 2 something I hoped would become my best work so far. Instead, I made it revolve around a bunch of toads teaming up to pull off the most perfect combo, which, in hindsight, was a pretty bad idea. I raised the bar for myself way too high and encouraged everyone else to expect the same level, and constantly posting previews as I made progress only made that pressure worse. The expectations around finishing this slowly turned it into more of a job than a passion project. I kept thinking I might have stayed consistent if I hadn’t poured everything into this one fight collab. Eventually I shelved it, telling myself it would be something I chipped away at between smaller projects, but the big fight collab habits followed me even into things that were supposed to stay small. As time went on, I came back to Band Together less and less, until I finally decided it just wasn’t worth continuing anymore. It's fun to look back at this. anyway. thank you.
