A Poppy Grows A poppy grows. poppies grow on battlefields. not because it must, not because it can, but from a drop of blood. A poppy grows. A poppy grows from a drop of blood. A poppy Grows not because it can. not because it must, but to remember those forgotten and lost A poppy grows. A poppy grows for those who were lost, those who were injured, those who served, those who have been on a battlefield, for those who lost or won, A poppy grows. They have no possessions besides themselves and wanders the streets quietly but some can see them coming. They come with nothing Nothing be left it will be gone and yet there will be nothing in their hands. People will run or walk away, if there lucky. Desolation takes all and gives none. You may not rely on anything but Desolation they will be soon to come.
