Repost from: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1045886312/ Click to advance Tamiya 1/35 M26 Pershing M26 Pershing of Company B, 1st Tank Battalion of the United States Marine Corps, Incheon, Korea, September of 1950. Took about 2 months to build First ever model kit I used Testors Olive Drab for the main chassis and turret, applied details with Vallejo, and used MiG pigments to weather Turned out better than I expected - INFORMATION - The M26 Pershing heavy tank, later designated as a medium tank, was formerly used by the United States Army in late-World War II and Korean War. Intended as a replacement of the M4 Sherman, its lengthy development minimized its role during World War II. Instead, it would see combat in Korea, later being replaced by the M46, which had a more powerful and reliable engine and advanced suspension. The design of the M26 would be taken to create other tanks that would be reflected in the M47, M48, and M60.
